Bergen Ferry Port Information
The facilities at Bergen port are limited but include a soft drinks vending machine, luggage lockers and toilets. The centre of Bergen is a five minutes walk from the terminal.
Getting to Bergen Ferry Port
If you depart in the winter, we advise you to check roads and weather information as well as the appropriate requirement for your vehicles tyres.
When traveling to the port, the fastest route from Oslo to Bergen is the route RV7: Oslo, Gol and Eidfjord to Bergen. Alternatively follow the E16 and drive through the longest tunnel in the world, which is the Lærdalstunnelen. From Oslo go to Honefoss, then Leira, Fagerness, Lærdalsoyri, Aurland, drive through the Lærdalstunnelen direction Gudvangen and then follow the signs to Bergen.
