The Port of Gdansk is Poland's largest seaport located in north central Poland, about nine nautical miles southeast of the Port of Gdynia. Ranked among the leading Baltic ports, the port is divided in to two parts, the Inner Port and Outer Port. The Inner Port handles containerised cargo, passenger ferries and Ro-Ro vessels, citrus fruit, sulphur, phosphorites and other bulk. The outer port offers state-of-the-art facilities suited to handling energy raw materials such as liquid fuels, coal and liquefied gas.

Polferries offer a daily passenger and freight service connecting Gdansk to Nynäshamn in Sweden. Nynäshamn is about an hour's drive from Stockholm.
