The freight port of Venice is located in northeast Italy at the top end of the Adriatic Sea and is part of the Motorways of the Sea network. The port is one of the major European cargo ports and is the only port in Italy to benefit from a river port providing freight transport by barge. The Venice Marittima Ferry Port Terminal provides facilities including check-in desks, restaurants and shops. The Terminal S Marta can be found in one of the port's oldest buildings and offers modern amenities including cafés, shops and other public facilities.

Getting to Venice Ferry Port by road

The freight port is situated at the exit of the Ponte della Liberta. For the Marittima area, exit at the first set of traffic lights, or exit at the second set of lights if you are headed towards the S. Basilio port area.
